For most of my working life I have been involved in Sales based roles, which I thoroughly enjoyed, but I did not like the 9-5 restrictions and I certainly did not like the idea of working until retirement age!

I have previously invested many hours and huge amounts of money into business opportunities and struggled to cover costs, let alone make any kind of profit. After defeats like that, why would I want to try again? Well…

“I am somewhat ‘immobile’, and have a great deal of knowledge on Computer Communications, and I have been looking for a way to augment my income through a home based business, preferably in the UK.

I have, and always have had, a passion for learning and teaching. My subject was originally electronics, which through IBM has progressed through to Computers and especially Computer Communications and Networking. In other words how Computers communicate with one another, both globally and locally.

I still teach others of my generation (mainly the over 50’s) and disposition (Physically disabled and housebound) how to use their home computers, for communicating with their friends and relatives, E-mail, Word Processing, and how to process, organise and distribute their family photographs from their Digital Cameras.

This is something I have been doing now for 10 + years, and up to now I have managed to visit my customers/clients, but because of my disability, I needed to market my services over the internet, which is why I am here today.

The MLM Edge, is the only UK programme, that I have found, that provides all the elements of teaching true internet marketing, through a step by step process, and by someone who has ‘walked the walk’ and now can truly ‘talk the talk’, and is not in a different time zone!

I personally am looking forward to learning as much as I can about Internet Marketing in the UK, so that I can continue my passion for teaching others to do the same, and be a truly successful Entrepreneur once again.

I became interested in the MLM business model after looking around at franchise opportunities. I was fed up with the lack of personal growth from my day job, I needed extra cash to support my eldest child through university, with 3 more to follow, and generally worried about my family’s long term security. I was close to investing £25k (of the banks money) in a particular franchise when that company went bust. This was a massive wake up call. The thought of making £500 per month business loan repayments against no income sent shivers up and down my spine. It would probably have sent me bankrupt.

So my thoughts turned to MLM.
